In July 2024 the Acumen BI team ventured to windy Wellington for a day packed with life hacks, company updates and therapeutic pottery sessions.
We kicked things off with a hearty breakfast and walked the short distance to the iconic Rowing Club, diving into a round of life hacks, work hacks and bucket list items. With comical and inspirational motives from “having the same thing on multiple screens to ensure focus on the task at hand, just start whatever it is you aspire to do, small steps towards big goals” and many more.
We then had company updates that recognised the continued strong demand for Acumen BI resources and increase in performance in the 2023/2024 financial year in comparison to the year before. We also discussed Objectives and Key Results, and embracing AI.

After the updates we relaxed with pottery sessions with Karla Marie Ceramics. It was the perfect solution for enhancing creativity and self-expression, improving focus, stress management, encouraging sociability and much more. The Acumen BI team tapped into their artistic side, unleashing their imagination and creating unique pieces of art to take home.
Overall, we strengthened our connections and boosted our team spirit. We all left with a renewed sense of energy and a few new inside jokes. Here’s to a team that knows how to work hard and support each other well.
